TabletsAntituberculosis drug. It mechanism of action is unknown. It is active against Mycobacterium tuberculosis and Mycobacterium bovis. It exerts a potent inhibitory effect on the viability of tuberculous mycobacteria, including those resistant to other anti-TB drugs. Perchlozone is low toxic, it produces no significant structural and functional impairments of major organs and organ systems and has no irritant effect on gastrointestinal mucosa. It mechanism of action has not been established yet and its studies are still ongoing.
