Inhibitor of epidermal growth factor receptor tyrosine kinase HER1/EGFR (HER1 - human epidermal growth factor receptor type 1, EGFR - epidermal growth factor receptor). Tyrosine kinase is responsible for the process of intracellular phosphorylation of HER1/EGFR. HER1/EGFR expression is observed on the surface of both normal and cancer cells. Inhibition of EGFR phosphotyrosine inhibits the growth of tumor cell lines and/or leads to cell death.
