On December 7, the city administration and BratskChemSyntez, a member of the Pharmasyntez Group, entered into a Mutual Cooperation Agreement. Under the agreement, the company will pay scholarships to distinguished athletes.
Alesya Kuznetsova, a 29-year-old judoka, will receive such scholarship for a year.
Alesya finished Spartak junior sports school of Bratsk.Today, she is the European Cup winner, champion of the 2013 Summer Universiade in Kazan, the European Championship winner, master of sports of Russia, and a member of the Russian national team since 2012. In October 2021, the athlete was one of the top five judokas at the Paris Grand Slam, which is considered an unofficial world championship.
“The granted scholarship gives me an opportunity to stay in the city, glorify our Bratsk, so that people can hear about it”, Alesya Kuznetsova says.
The Pharmasyntez Group of Companies seeks to support such initiatives that contribute to the social and economic development of the Irkutsk region. The signing of this Agreement will contribute to the formation of an image of Bratsk as a healthy and athletic city.
