The history of the plant began in 2013 from the API small-scale production department. Over the years, the company increased its production capacity and developed the professional competence in this highly specialized field.

The active phase of construction of the 2nd main stage of the pharmaceutical plant began in 2018 and completed with the ceremonial commissioning in 2020 with the personal participation of Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation. This was an important event for the entire pharmaceutical industry in the country.

In 2021, an anti-tumor API large-scale production department with the capacity of up to 40 (±10) tones per year was started-up.

Today, BratskChemSyntez is one of the leading enterprises for the development and production of pharmaceutical substances. The enterprise is planning to expand its activity increasing production capacity to 1,000 tons of active pharmaceutical ingredients per year by 2025-2027.
