The conference contributed to the dialogue between the companies in the field of manufacture and services for the following cooperation and development of healthcare in Russia.

It was attended by representatives of relevant agencies and industry associations, as well as directors of pharmaceutical companies, responsible for the delivery of pharmaceutical products.

During the plenary meeting, Oleg Astafurov, Vice-President of Government Relations of Pharmasyntez JSC noted:

By implementing the import substitution strategy, over the last 5 years Pharmasyntez has invested more than 15 billion rubles in new operations and extension of the drug product portfolio. The events ongoing around the world persuade us that a course laid by us for active import substitution of pharmaceutical formulations and substances fulfills the current time needs in full. This strategy is good both for a medium-term horizon and in a strategic perspective. However, the emphasis of import substitution will be shifted from the finished dosage forms to the production of pharmaceutical substances, reference standards, and other necessary ingredients. All of this has been identified in the Pharma-2030 Program, and the today’s unprecedented challenges will accelerate the pharmaceutical industry in Russia”.
