One of the top pharmaceutical companies in Malaysia, Pharmaniaga Berhad, hosted an introductory meeting with the Pharmasyntez Group at Pharmaniaga's Kuala Lumpur office. The Russian Federation's Trade Representation in Malaysia participated in the event.

Prospects for long-term strategic cooperation, such as product portfolio development, oncology and biopharmaceutical drug collaboration, and potential partnership formats, such as conducting clinical trials, were discussed by the parties during the negotiations. The potential and opportunities for using Malaysia as a platform to access ASEAN markets were given special consideration.

The meeting participants also discussed potential models for future collaboration, scientific and manufacturing competencies, and regulatory requirements.

Following the meeting, the parties acknowledged the positive nature of the discussion and reiterated their desire to carry on talks and advance cooperative projects.
