On 20 June, a pitch session with Vikram Punia took place at the Russia-China Pharmaceutical Cooperation Forum. The President presented Pharmasyntez Group to Russian and Chinese pharmaceutical industry leaders, discussed business transformation, industry innovations, global trends, the company's near future and mutually beneficial partnership with major Chinese players.
Natalia Malykh, Vice President for Business Development, took part in the panel session «Foundations of Industrial Collaboration between Russia and China in the Pharmaceutical Sector: Strategic Aspects». She highlighted successful cases of Russian-Chinese cooperation, the attractiveness of the markets in both countries and the new geopolitical situation's impact on developing mutual relations.
The forum was held with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Participants included the Ministry of Health, Federal Service for Intellectual Property, major Russian and Chinese pharmaceutical companies, including the China Pharmaceutical Industry Association.
Experts discussed the prospects for cooperation on innovative medicines, vaccine development and high-tech medicines. Particular attention has been paid to the requirements for inspection, GMP, marketing authorisation and licensing of drug production. Local needs for medicines, technologies, raw materials, clinical trial legislation, import-export and logistics issues were addressed.
The Forum has become an important platform for dialogue between companies and the authorities of Russia and China in the pharmaceutical industry.
