The Pharmasyntez Group of Companies is playing a key role as an industry partner in the development of School No. 58, a new state-of-the-art educational facility named in commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory. Located in the Yaroslavskogo Street district, the school is set to become the largest in the Irkutsk region. Igor Ivanovich Kobzev, the Governor, has already confirmed the facility's full readiness to President Vladimir Putin, with classes scheduled to begin this April in the new modern learning environment.
Designed to serve as a launchpad for future engineers and scientists, the school has received substantial support from the Pharmasyntez Group of Companies, which has taken on full responsibility for the technical outfitting of a specialized chemistry classroom.
We are building the physical foundation for a comfortable and engaging learning experience: modern lab equipment, high-quality reagents, ergonomic furniture—everything needed to ensure theory is immediately reinforced by hands-on practice," the company noted. "From day one, the branded classroom will create a direct association for students: chemistry, science, and pharmaceutics are prestigious and accessible right here in their home region.
The partnership, however, extends well beyond equipment supply. The Pharmasyntez Group is introducing a system of ongoing academic support. Together with partners from Irkutsk State University (ISU), the company is launching a program of elective courses designed to take school-level education to the next level.
Faculty members from ISU's Department of Chemistry will deliver advanced lessons that go beyond the standard curriculum, offering students a deeper immersion in the subject. Importantly, the initiative is not limited to upper-grade students: lectures and engaging experiments are also being planned for younger classes. This represents a crucial step in early career guidance—sparking an interest in science from the very first school years by demonstrating its real-world relevance.
