Pharmasyntez-Medtech Plant to Supply Russia with Superior Dialysis Equipment
Vladislav Shapsha, Kaluga Region Governor, held a working meeting with Nikolai Panikarovsky, the CEO of Medtech, and Aleksei Katayev, the CEO of Novadial. The head of the region observed pilot product samples manufactured at the Kaluga production plant and evaluated the development of a major project, the establishment of Russia's first plant for producing hemodialysis medical devices and consumables.
An estimated 2 billion rubles will be needed to establish the production facility. The plant's construction and renovation work in the production area is now finished, and extensive technical trials and active technological equipment installation are currently taking place. The registration of the manufactured products with Roszdravnadzor will be the next significant milestone. The plant is scheduled to open in March 2026.
Vladislav Shapsha gave the appropriate regional authorities instructions to thoroughly investigate the potential for incorporating the new products into the Kaluga Region's healthcare system. Improving the standard of nephrological care for the general public, including children, is the primary goal.
Production will be carried out under the Novadial trademark. The plant will eventually become the country's first industrial facility that can completely satisfy domestic demand for cutting-edge hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis supplies and equipment. In addition to giving patients access to cutting-edge domestic equipment, the project's implementation will strengthen the region's industrial potential, generate new jobs, and significantly advance the growth of the Russian medical sector.
Recall that the Pharmasyntez-Medtech project was highly recognized at the federal level. Mikhail Mishustin, the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, emphasized it as a striking illustration of an initiative contributing to country's technological sovereignty.
