Recently, the Kaluga region was mentioned in the speech by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin at the plenary session of INNOPROM-2025.
Among the projects that strengthen the country’s technological sovereignty and make a significant contribution to economic development, Mikhail Vladimirovich highlighted a new enterprise in the Rosva industrial park:
“By the end of the year, the first production of dialysis machines in Russia is planned to be opened in Kaluga. The corresponding medical equipment, core parts, and consumables will now be domestically produced. This will ensure independence from foreign-made medical devices. What is important, our citizens will have access to high-quality treatment based on our own solutions.”
The project to create the Pharmasyntez-Medtech plant is being implemented with the support of the Industrial Development Fund. The construction of “clean rooms” is nearing completion at the site, and equipment installation is underway. The plant’s products will help address the shortage of medical devices and equipment for treating people suffering from kidney diseases and receiving renal replacement therapy. The project’s investment volume amounts to approximately 2 billion rubles.
Vikram Punia, President of the Pharmasyntez Group, noted:
“The course taken by the Pharmasyntez Group to ensure the country’s pharmaceutical and medical sovereignty is being successfully implemented and developed in full accordance with the plan and schedule.”
