GMP inspectors from the regulatory authorities of eighteen countries, including Libya, India, Vietnam, Ecuador, Uruguay, Jordan, Peru, and EAEU members, visited the Pharmasyntez-Nord biopharmaceutical plant in St. Petersburg in September 2025. The visit was a part of a field event that the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade co-organized.

During the visit, the inspectors had the opportunity to assess the production facilities and quality standards. Special attention was given to the active pharmaceutical substances and finished dosage forms production areas, where high-tech processes and GMP standards are applied.
Pharmasyntez-Nord demonstrated knowledge-intensive manufacturing process and high-tech equipment. The inspectors were also impressed by the state-of-the-art high-bay warehouse, which had large areas for storing medications at low temperatures.
The Pharmasyntez-Nord plant's production standards are comparable to those of pharmaceutical facilities in North America and Europe and meet the strictest international standards, according to experts from countries aligned with top global regulators.

Crucially, Uruguay and other Latin American countries are ready to accept Pharmasyntez-Nord's GMP certificates issued by recognized global inspectorates like the Brazilian Health Regulatory Agency (ANVISA), which greatly makes it easier for the company's products to enter international markets.
An inspector from Sri Lanka made an emotional speech that attracted special attention. She mentioned the current ban on the import of Russian pharmaceuticals into her country, but she also highlighted the significance and high demand for Pharmasyntez-Nord's medications and her intention to work toward opening access to this market.
The foreign visitors stressed that the visit had significantly altered their opinion of Russian pharmaceuticals after the meeting.
Pharmasyntez-Nord is a symbol of quality, reliability, and innovation, adhering to the highest international GMP standards, as evidenced by the higher interest in the plant from top international regulators and partners.
The Pharmasyntez Group, one of the largest companies in the industry and conscious of its social responsibility, prioritizes the quality of its manufactured drugs. The company is dedicated to boosting confidence in Russian producers and improving the country's pharmaceutical sector's reputation abroad.
