The square outside the Shanghai Concert Hall served as the outdoor venue for the performance. Over 1,200 people attended the performance, which was led by Yuri Medyanik, the principal conductor and artistic director of the orchestra.
Yuri Medyanik opened the concert by saying:
The Tyumen Philharmonic Orchestra is celebrating its 10th anniversary. For us, this concert season is a year of celebration. Being able to share the joy of connecting with music makes us very happy.

The Pharmasyntez Group is supporting the orchestra's tour. This confirms the Group's presence in both the pharmaceutical industry and the world of high art, marking another step in fortifying international ties. As part of its global strategy, Pharmasyntez is increasing its drug exports while simultaneously promoting Russian culture overseas, illustrating the diversity of Russian business.
Vladimir Kisilenko, CEO of Pharmasyntez-Tyumen, emphasized:
It is crucial that we support these kinds of cultural initiatives because they are a means of introducing Chinese people to Russian culture and strengthening the friendly ties between our two countries.
