solution for intramuscular injectionIt is used for the treatment of locally advanced or disseminated estrogen receptor-positive breast cancer in postmenopausal women with progression on the background of or after anti-estrogen therapy.
It binds competitively to estrogen receptors without exhibiting its own estrogen-like activity, blocks the trophic effect of estrogen by inhibiting the activity of estrogen receptors with their subsequent degradation. It also reduces the expression of progesterone receptors.
Does not have a stimulating effect on endometrial cells in meno- and postmenopausal women. Does not affect the metabolism of bone tissue.
