The event was held in the historical center of Irkutsk and brought together more than 4,000 athletes and amateurs from Russia and other countries. The main distances were 10, 21, and 42 kilometers.

A team of 25 employees from the Irkutsk plant of Pharmasyntez joined the Slata Marathon for the first time. Andrey Semyonov, Chief Executive Officer of JSC Pharmasyntez, was the team captain.

Andrey Aleksandrovich, together with Denis Kondratyev and Pavel Shevchenko, encouraged colleagues by their example and covered a distance of 10 kilometers.

The longest distance of 42 kilometers was chosen by a 22-year-old laboratory field engineer, Aleksei Shashok. He showed incredible endurance and reached the finish line in 4 hours and 13 minutes.

Participation in the marathon became not only a symbol of sporting achievements for the Pharmasyntez JSC team but also a confirmation of its values – cooperation, determination, and striving for excellence.
