IMPLEMENTATION OF A LARGE-SCALE PRODUCTION PROJECT FOR HORMONAL DRUGS BY PHARMASYNTEZ GROUP IN TYUMEN
Vikram Punia, President of JSC Pharmasyntez announced on an ambitious project for production of hormonal drugs which is to be launched at Pharmasyntez-Tyumen plant during the course of Regional council session on investment climate improvement headed by Vladimir Yakushev, the Governor of the Tyumen Region.
On 8th of December, 2017 Vladimir Yakushev and Vikram Punia signed Cooperative Agreement between the Government of the Tyumen Region and Pharmasyntez Group.
The overriding priority for the project is import substitution in pharmaceutical industry. Pharmasyntez-Tyumen makes an essential contribution to social and economic development of the whole country and sustainability of the Tyumen Region by developing the most modern production using world advanced technologies, in compliance with Russian standards and GMP International standards.
 “Today 97 per cents of all hormonal drugs used in Russia are imported. We are going to produce 30 different items of hormonal drugs”, said President of JSC Pharmasyntez.  According to him, the cumulative investment into the project will approach to Rub 3.5 bln.
 “Pharmasyntez Group is comprised of five plants throughout the Russian Regions. We produce more than 100 items of pharmaceuticals. In 2016 the Company produced more than 41 nominal packs of drugs, and our sales turnover exceeds Rub 10 bln. About one and a half thousand people work at the plants of Pharmasyntez Group and by the end of this year this figure will reach two thousand”, Mr. Punia noted.
 “Import substitution and introduction of new technologies are among of key priorities for us. The Government of the Region welcomes news investors and ready to provide them with overall state support. We are utterly open also for in-regional investors who intend to enlarge production facilities and establish new companies and industries in the Region”, Vladimir Yakushev underlined.
