A working meeting with the participation of Kirill Soloveichik, the Head of the Committee for Industrial Policy, Innovation and Trade of St. Petersburg, Tamara Rondaleva, the CEO of SEZ Novo-Orlovskaya, and the company management, took place on October 2d at the Pharmasyntez-Nord plant in St. Petersburg.

Most efficient measures that could be undertaken by Saint Petersburg City Administration to support this project have been identified during the discussion of current issues, most key of which was accelerating the commissioning of the second line of the plant.

The participants got acquainted with the operating enterprise which produces drug products for the treatment of oncology and the diseases included into the Nosologies Programme list, as well as with the construction progress of the second line of the Pharmasyntez-Nord plant, which is the largest investment project of the Pharmasyntez Group of Companies.

“At the end of the meeting the parties expressed a common desire to launch the second line of the plant as soon as possible. As such, 500 jobs would be created and the city will enjoy extra tax revenues.  As for the enterprise, it would change its status from medium to large business,” Oleg Astafurov, the Vice President for Government Relations of Pharmasyntez, said.
