MEETING BETWEEN REPRESENTATIVES OF EAST-PHARM AND INTERIM GOVERNOR OF PRIMORSKY KRAI
The company’s managers and Andrei Tarasenko discussed the future cooperation in and development of pharmaceuticals production in Primorsky Krai.
The working meeting brought together Vikram Punia, President of the Pharmasyntez Group, Yuri Skachko, Chief Executive Officer of EAST-PHARM, Alexander Kostenko, Senior Vice-Governor for industrial, licensing and trade issues, Pavel Serebryakov, Vice-Governor of Primorsky Krai for healthcare, labour, social care, physical training and sports development issues, and Elena Yuraga, Chief Expert of the Healthcare Department of the Primorsky Krai Administration.  The parties, both representatives of Pharnasyntez and the local administration, expressed their readiness to make every effort in developing the pharmaceutical industry in Primorsky Krai, including production of parenteral nutrition - the unique project for Russia - which is being fully imported at this moment.  EAST-PHARM will also consider a possibility to produce consumables, such as syringes, or infusion systems.
Andrei Tarasenko, interim Governor of Primorsky Krai, promised, in his turn, to lobby the company’s projects co-financing issue through the Regional Ministry of Industry and Trade, as well as to assist in supplying national raw materials to be used in production. By the end of 2018, one more important issue over the EAST-PHARM gasification will be resolved.
