Nomides® is an antiviral drug that, when administered early, significantly reduces the overall duration of influenza and its main symptoms. Nomides® can be taken by children from the age of one year and by pregnant women. 

Currently, Nomides® is the only Oseltamivir in the Russian market available in the form of suspension.

Pharmasyntez has been producing the drug product since 2016. The production of powder for oral suspension was launched in 2021. However, the dosage form was presented only in a volume of 30 g. Due to the limited shelf life, the use of the drug in children weighing less than 23 kg was accompanied by disposal of large amounts of suspension.

At the moment, the production of two more volumes of the drug have been launched: 10 and 15 g. They should be used in children under eight years old weighing up to 23 kg. About 100,000 packs of the suspension have already been produced and distributed through pharmacies and online marketplaces. By the fall flu season, the company will produce another 100,000 packs.
