Within the framework of the Agreement on social and economic cooperation with the Irkutsk Region, the Pharmasyntez Group of Companies provided financial support for the reconstruction of the physiotherapy room of the only district hospital in the workers’ settlement of Lesogorsk, Chuna District, the Irkutsk Region.

The new medical building where the physiotherapy room is situated was designed to serve the population of the workers’ settlement of 4.5 thousand people. The Pharmasyntez Group of Companies financed the purchase of modern equipment for the room, which is designed for the treatment and prevention of various diseases. The financing amounted to more than RUB 1.4 million.

"For more than two years, there was no physiotherapy room functioning in Chuna District. With the initiative of Natalya Dikusarova, a member of the Legislative Assembly, and financial support from the Pharmasyntez Group of Companies, we were able to recreate a physiotherapy room," Anastas Onufriadi, the hospital's Head Physician, said.

The Agreement on cooperation between the Government of the Irkutsk Region and Pharmasyntez JSC was signed in 2013 and is supplemented by the parties annually.

In the last 5 years alone, the amount of funding from Pharmasyntez under the Agreement exceeded RUB 100 mln. The company pays great attention to providing assistance to healthcare institutions. For example, during the pandemic, Pharmasyntez assisted in the purchase of necessary equipment, protective suits, and drugs; provided gratuitous assistance by supplying significant amounts of drugs.
