The document outlines the list of social activities to be carried out in 2023 at Pharmasyntez's expense for the Irkutsk Region's social and economic development.

“The Irkutsk Region Government has partnered with Pharmasyntez for a very long time. It carries out a number of significant investment projects in our region and gives special attention to social work, public and cultural events that are important to the Irkutsk Region, and scientific advancement. I am grateful to Pharmasyntez management and team for this”, pointed out Igor Kobzev.

Thus, as part of the signed agreement, this year Pharmasyntez JSC will allocate funds to co-finance the repair and restoration of the training facilities of POU Tulun Sports and Technical Club of Regional Branch of DOSAAF Russia in Irkutsk Region, which suffered from flooding in 2019. In addition, the organization is ready to co-finance various infrastructure, social, cultural, and sporting activities throughout the year for the benefit of the entire Irkutsk Region.

“Pharmasyntez has been operating in Irkutsk for 20 years and has extensive experience of successful cooperation with the Region. We would like to express our profound gratitude to the Irkutsk Region Government for providing unwavering support for the investment initiatives carried out on its territory in Irkutsk and Bratsk. Pharmasyntez, one of the biggest taxpayers in the Irkutsk Region, supports the region economically and socially. In particular, the agreement signed today allocates 20 million rubles for the financing of sporting, social, and community activities for 2023”, added Oleg Astafurov.

The agreement signed in St. Petersburg also attests to the fact that the amount of taxes paid to the regional budget in 2023–2024 will increase.

It is to be reminded that the cooperation agreement between the Irkutsk Region Government and Pharmasyntez JSC was signed in 2013 and is updated annually by the parties. At a meeting in Irkutsk Igor Kobzev, Governor of Irkutsk Region, had earlier discussed prospects of its extension and areas of cooperation for 2023 with Vikram Punia, President of Pharmasyntez Group.
