The club is provided with funds to prepare for the All-Russian Basketball Super League 2021/2022. Its funding is also aimed at promoting active lifestyles and developing basketball in the Irkutsk region.

Irkut is a Russian men's basketball club from Irkutsk. It plays in the First Division of the Super League and the Russian Cup and traces its history since 2004.

A reserve of players is created on the basis of the Super League 1 to represent our country in the international arena in various European Cups.

Irkut has won twice the Cup of Siberia and Far East, got the silver medal of the Super League 1, and reached the Final Four of the Russian Cup.
