The winners were solemnly congratulated by Igor Kobzev, the Governor of the Irkutsk region. Konstantin Zaitsev, the Chairman of the Government of the Irkutsk Region, presented 26 "85 Years of the Irkutsk Region" badges and tabletop plaques to the company representatives.

Rating of business entities of the Irkutsk Region is an annual event. The main task is to strengthen the competitiveness of the economy of the Angara Region and the cooperation between the government and businesses of the region.

The prize-winners were determined comprehensively, taking into account financial and economic performance, investment and labor activity, as well as the social responsibility of enterprises and organizations. The winners were selected by an expert committee, which included representatives of the relevant ministries of the Irkutsk Region and the Irkutsk Statistical Office (Irkutskstat).

“The enterprises that are winners of the rating make a noticeable contribution to the improving the socio-economic situation in the region and, as a result, the standard of living. Due to this work the Irkutsk Region has traditionally a leading position in Siberia in terms of economic performance. The rating is not just about selecting the best. The indicators that are taken into account in the selection procedure are prescribed in the socio-economic development strategy of the region and are considered as points of growth for our companies. Thus, we unite the goals of businesses and power in order to conduct a unified social and economic policy”, emphasized Igor Kobzev, the Governor of the region.

Evgeny Orachevsky, Acting Chief Executive Officer of Pharmasyntez JSC, noted:

Undoubtedly, this recognition is worth much - it is the result of the work of almost two thousand employees of Pharmasyntez Company, the contribution of each and every one of us. Every year, we continue to do something fundamentally new, put into operation the most modern additional production facilities, expand the portfolio of socially significant drugs, work hard on quality, implement new technologies and do our own original developments. All this allows not only making a weighty contribution to the development of drug safety in our country, but also provides new jobs and an increase in tax returns to the budget of the Irkutsk Region.
