Oleg Kozhemyako, the Governor of the Primorsky Krai, paid an official visit to the Ussuriysk plant EAST-PHARM.
The visit was timed to coincide with the production of the 250th million package of infusion solution at the plant. Konstantin Shestakov, the Vice Governor of the Primorsky Krai, Natalya Naboichenkova, the Minister of Economic Development of the Primorsky Krai, and Anastasia Khudchenko, the Minister of Health of the Primorsky Krai, also took part in the event.
The plant annually produces over 20 million vials of various pharmacological classes, including blood substitutes, anti-infectives, antimycotics, hemostatic drugs as well as small-volume drug infusions. Throughout its 17-year history, EAST-PHARM LLC has made a significant contribution to the socio-economic development of not only the Primorsky Krai but also of the country as a whole through providing the population with affordable high-quality essential drugs.
At the meeting, the head of the Primorsky Krai got acquainted with the production process of parenteral amino acids at the EAST-PHARM manufacturing site. He expressed his approval of the company's initiative, which will allow to address the need of the region in more affordable domestic medicines.
