“Pharmasyntez is one of the largest manufacturers of socially significant drugs in Russia, the leader in the production of antituberculosis agents. Now that economic sanctions have been imposed against our country, it is especially important that the company provides the pharmaceutical market with domestic products. According to Evgeniy Orachevsky, two projects of the Pharmasyntez Group in Irkutsk are now in the active implementation phase. The first one is the expansion of the production facilities for the manufacture of filled ampoules and pre-filled syringes, with the design fully completed and the equipment selected. At the beginning of 2024 it is planned to fully launch this line. The second project is the construction of a new shop for the manufacture of antiasthmatic drugs. The equipment has already been purchased and the shop is being prepared for launch. The implementation of these two projects will not only solve the problem of import substitution of drugs, but will also create about 150 additional jobs.
