The Government of the Irkutsk Oblast has approved a list of systemically important (socially significant) companies of the region.

The list includes 100 companies that contributed most to socio-economic development of the region, also in terms of production volume, work performed, services provided, taxes paid to the Irkutsk Oblast budget, and number of employees. These are enterprises active in different sectors of the economy such as transport, energy, petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, machine engineering, metallurgy, agro-industrial complexes, food industry, construction materials, etc.
