The second Russia-Africa Summit took place on July 27–28th, 2023 in St Petersburg. It gathered official delegations from 48 countries and the five largest integration associations of the continent.

At the Summit, the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation organized the Healthy Life Area and the Medicine Cluster, where organizations managed by the Ministry of Health and national pharmaceutical companies presented cutting-edge developments in medical science and healthcare.

The Pharmasyntez Group of Companies was one of the partners of the Healthy Life project. The company presented its flagship drugs for diabetes mellitus, immunosuppressants, contrast agents, antithrombotic drugs, antiviral and anticancer drugs.

Nikita Punia, Executive Director of the Pharmasyntez Group of Companies, took part in the business programme of the event as a speaker at the session “Leaders of the Russian pharmaceutical industry for the countries of the African region: implementation of cooperation”.
