The XIV International Interscience Congress MANAGE PAIN was held in Moscow on November 6-8. It was the largest specialized event for neurologists that brought together leading domestic and international experts.

The purpose of the Congress was to share with medical professionals the most recent research on pain management and to share global best practices in treating patients with a range of pain disorders.

Within the framework of “Somatic and Visceral Pain Aspects” symposium (which was held during the official part of the Congress) Evgenia Ekusheva, professor, the head of the nervous system diseases and neurorehabilitation department of the Federal State Educational Institution of Additional Professional Training «Institute of Improvement of Professional Skill of the Federal Medico-Biological Agency of Russia» (FSEI APT IIPS FMBA of Russia), outlined the importance of Etorelex and Nexemezin medications for multistage pain management.

“Despite the significant development and major progress of experimental science and clinical medicine over the recent years, the number of patients with pain syndrome is not decreasing. Pain syndrome management which includes timely diagnosis and targeted therapy (or the so-called “4D” rule), allows not only to provide patients with proper assistance but also to improve their functional state and life quality,” said Evgenia Viktorovna.
