Last year Pharmasyntez became an industrial partner of the Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia in implementation of the project "Mendeleev Classes" aimed at increasing the level of teaching chemistry and science in general educational institutions.
Larisa Lysak, the Education Board Head of Angarsk District:
For the period of 2020-2021, Pharmasyntez and Gymnasium No 8 were in the process of opening the “Mendeleev class” and through this work, children have been able to study chemistry in depth for more than half a year now. Today the Gymnasium and Pharmasyntez have organized an efficient work involving both students and teachers. The Gymnasium and the children are very fortunate to receive such support in order to designate the path for development.
Tatyana Gorlovskaya, a chemistry teacher, Gymnasium No 8:
The children are interested in studying chemistry, and they were intentional in the entrance of the “Mendeleev class”. The program "Mendeleev classes" has no differences with the school program, but it gives the opportunity to study the topic in depth and closer to the academic program.
Galina Obikhod, a Head of Training Center, Pharmasyntez JSC:
Pharmasyntez is committed to providing "Mendeleev Classes" with "Mendeleev kits" of laboratory equipment and reagents, conducting webinars for students with academic specialists and upgrading teachers' skills. “Mendeleev classes" allow school graduates to get up to 10 additional points to their unified state exam results when entering the Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology in Moscow and the INRTU in Irkutsk. We hope that the children, after the "Mendeleev class", will get into the specialized universities, and after graduation, they will take up employment at our company as young specialists in chemistry, chemical technology, and pharmacy.
